Privacy
AsiaCreations™ Décor and Fashion and its parent, JEDI International, Ltd. take your privacy seriously.
We will never share contact, payment or other information with anyone, other than those required to complete your purchase and those required by law.
To make a purchase, we request you to furnish your name and address details. This is needed to properly calculate shipping costs and prepare the payment process. For completed sales, this information is stored and is available only to yourself and to us. You can modify or delete this information at any time according to your preference. To make your purchase possible, some of this information is shared with the appropriate payment processors. In this case, their privacy policy applies as well (for example, Paypal).
Our site also collects non-personal statistical data such as your originating ip address, the browser and operating system you use, and your internet service provider. If you have 'cookies' enabled on your web-browser, as is usually the case, your computer may remember its visit with us. These are non-personally identifiable statistical data that most other websites collect as well. These too, are not shared with anyone.
An exception to the non-disclosure of personal information is for abuse of our web site, email, and for abuse or fraudulent use of financial transactions, which are reported to the authorities.

Payment security
All sections of our web site dealing with personal information are protected with secure socket layer (SSL) encryption. Our encryption will soon be certified by an external certification service provider, assuring the quality of our SSL encryption. Currently we still use self-certified encryption. While this is fully secured, the fact that no third party has certified it leads to warnings by your browser. Specifically in our case, you may confidently ignore these warnings.
We do not process online payments ourselves. Instead we work with PayPal® to process payments. This also offers payment by credit card without being a Paypal member.
Payment terms
Generally all items are fully prepaid through our online shopping cart before shipment.
Prices
Item prices are ex workshop in US Dollars. Shipping costs are shown in US Dollars, separately.
Product origin
AsiaCreations products are hand crafted in the Thailand countryside. They originate and ship directly ex workshop (ex works) from Thailand.
Shipping
Items are delivered by the postal service as our local and international shipper. In, for example, the US this is the Unites States Postal Service (USPS). The shown shipping times are based on postal service data combined with our own experience for each shipping method's transit time.
We are not and cannot be directly responsible for the shipping time of individual postal service consignments. In all cases if a delay should occur, we try our utmost to trace the whereabouts and progress of packages we send. While a few delays have occurred, in seven years we have not yet lost a single post office package (knock on wood).
Homeland security
Sporadically international shipments may be subject to unusually stringent security checks, which may cause delays. These may last up to several days.
Import duties
For most countries AsiaCreations products can be imported free of duties or tariffs. In many countries, however, the post office may charge value-added tax on your incoming purchase. Our section on import duties has more details.
At all times it remains solely the buyer's responsibility to be to aware of and to conform to country and state laws, including any markings, certificates or permits, and settle any costs related to the importation of products purchased from us.

Liability
Our legal adviser has advised us to include a legalese limitation of liability and indemnification. The normal language summary is that we are not liable for losses, additional costs or legal fees incurred by buyers or others related to the use or non-use of our products and services. Except, of course, in case of valid laws that say otherwise. Here the two legalese paragraphs:
Limitation of liability
AsiaCreations and JEDI International, Ltd., it's owner's, directors and employees' entire liability and your exclusive remedy regarding Products and Services provided by us is to discontinue your use of our Products and Services. Any replacement of Products or Services is exclusively at our sole discretion. We, or our vendors or our suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising from procuring, transporting, vending and/or using or inability to use our Products and Services. These exclusions apply to any claims for lost profits, incurred costs, loss of goodwill, work stoppage, related product failure or mistake, or anyother commercial damages and losses, even if we knew or should have known of the possibility of such damages. Some countries, states or jurisdictions do not fully allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, therefore in such countries, states or jurisdictions, our liability, and the liability of our vendors and suppliers, shall be limited to the extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless AsiaCrations and JEDI International, Ltd., its owners, directors and employees, and its vendors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of procuring, transporting, vending and/or using or inability to use our, our vendors' and suppliers' Products and Services. We reserve the right, at our own expense and in our sole discretion, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. In that event, and only in such event, shall you have no further obligation to provide indemnification for us in that matter.
